That is why until now, you may still be holding on to that painful situation. As a result, you don’t want to be more talkative and tell others what you really want them to hear.

Next cause is that you feel so insecure and you don’t realize your self’s worth. You may be feeling that everybody else is beautiful or handsome except for you. You may also be thinking that you are worthless and they don’t need your opinion. You also might be thinking that you don’t have any talents or unique abilities unlike everyone else.

How Can I Overcome Shyness?

First, you have to believe in yourself, in what you can do and what your worth really is. All the people in the world are beautiful in their own ways. Everybody also has a talent which not everybody has. You may have a talent in planting, singing, dancing, writing poems, or designing. So you know, you don’t have to feel so down about yourself. Believe in yourself and let others see it.

Talk with someone you are least likely to talk to. Be the first to talk and be genuinely interested with that person. Have something to say about yourself and don’t be afraid on what that person’s reaction will be. Not all people are bad. There are people who are friendly and are willing to talk. By doing this, you will be more talkative and will feel more comfortable talking to others.

Sometimes, you might not want to be more talkative because you are afraid of the negative things people might say about you and because of your past experiences. Speak up and don’t take it seriously when people have negative reactions about what you said. It’s okay. It’s their opinion. You can use it to improve yourself but don’t let it make you feel down. It’s okay to be more talkative. Just always remember to be sensitive about the feelings of other people.
